Holistic activities 2016:-
We all know emotions are important. But some emotions are really good i.e. +ve and some are really bad i.e. –ve. +ve or –ve emotions should be handled and controlled very wisely otherwise they may mash-up our entire mood and even our life. So emotional development is important and it can only be done by emotional activities such as gaining knowledge about emotions how they occur? Why they occur? What is the root cause of a particular emotion.
To develop Tong-Len children emotionally such an activity is organized from 2nd to 5th August 2016. In this activity students come to know about managing anger (Why and How). if we don’t manage our anger it will harm others as well as us. Then knowledge about different emotions is given and told about body language associated to different emotions. An emotional drama game is also played in which some students say some dialogues and others have to judge emotions involved in them. By doing this students are supposed to get a clear idea about emotions.

Our celebrations included poetry recitation , dance program , solo and group singing . We also presented a skit which spoke about what India should be and how through divisions of class , caste , gender etc. we are harming ourselves as a nation more than any thing else. We concluded by screening a documentary followed by lunch, where staff and children enjoyed lunch together in the campus outside. As I am updating children are playing games and enjoying freedom…..!
